Mission:
To facilitate discussion, awareness and understanding of professional standards-related issues. The Forum provides a vehicle through which participants can share and seek information relevant to those who administer or participate as a volunteer in enforcement of the Code of Ethics or Arbitration and Mediation services.

Professional Standards Forums open to all members

• Customized Training for Local Boards/Associations includes: Grievance & Prof., Standards Committee Personnel, Association Administrators (local), Mediators (volunteer) and Association Boards of Directors
• OAR “Interboard Arbitration Procedures” Participation in NAR’s Professional Standards Procedures Seminar and Mediation Training ”REALTORS…and their Code of Ethics” Brochure
• Establish schedule for routine reminders to Member Assns. for:
• Annual review and updating of governing documents, relevant changes to Code of Ethics and professional standards procedures
• Deadlines and options for compliance with New Member and Quadrennial Ethics education requirements for all members

Yearly Objectives

• Pro stds different role players perform from winter conference and update results of sanctions that are leveled for particular violations by the ODRE; ask Convention committee to look at switching times
